Shipping Policy

Donna’s Book Corner is an online-only used bookstore based in Jefferson City, Missouri. All books are held in-house, personally packed, and shipped directly to you.

Where We Ship

We ship within the United States only. International shipping is not currently available.

Shipping Method and Costs

Orders ship through USPS Media Mail with tracking. Shipping charges for orders that do not qualify for free shipping are calculated at checkout based on the package weight and delivery address. You can review your shipping charge before completing your purchase.

Free Shipping

• First-time customers: Create a free Donna’s Book Corner customer account to qualify for free shipping on your first order of $35 or more.

• All customers: Orders of $50 or more qualify for free shipping.

Free shipping is provided through USPS Media Mail. Check that your qualifying order shows no shipping charge before completing payment. If the expected free shipping does not appear, contact us at donnasbookcorner@gmail.com for help.

Order Processing

Orders are normally processed and shipped within 1–2 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Processing time is separate from the carrier’s delivery time.

Exceptions for Condition Issues

Every book receives a final inspection before packing. If a book does not match its advertised condition, we will hold the affected book and email you with the details and available options.

You will have three business days to respond, with the exact deadline included in our email. This hold may extend our normal processing time. We will not ship the affected book without your approval.

If you accept the book in its disclosed condition, we will ship it within 1–2 business days of receiving your approval. If you decline or do not respond by the deadline, we will cancel the affected item and refund its purchase price, applicable tax, and any original shipping charge attributable to it. If it is the only item in your order, we will refund the entire order.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of cancellation.

Estimated Delivery Time

Once shipped, most orders arrive within an estimated 5–8 business days via USPS Media Mail. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Holidays, weather, and postal delays may extend delivery time.

Tracking Your Order

Tracking information is sent to the email address provided at checkout when your shipping label is created. Please allow time for USPS to receive and scan your package before tracking updates appear.

Shipping Address Changes

Please check your shipping address carefully before placing your order. If you notice an error, email donnasbookcorner@gmail.com as soon as possible.

We will make every effort to update the address before shipment, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has shipped.

Delayed, Missing, or Damaged Orders

If your package is delayed, appears missing, or arrives damaged, please contact donnasbookcorner@gmail.com with your order number so we can help investigate and resolve the issue. For damaged orders, please include photos of the packaging and affected books if possible.
