Books have been my companions for as long as I can remember. As a little girl I’d lose myself in stories, filling my shelves with books I loved too much to ever let go — their spines worn soft, their pages marked with memories.Everything shifted in 4th grade when my favorite author visited our school. Seeing that the person behind the stories I loved was real changed something in me. Books weren’t just an escape anymore. They were a way to connect to something real and meaningful.My reading life grew from there. Fantasy worlds, romance, mysteries, thrillers, paranormal, suspense — each genre opening new doors. Then at thirteen I picked up my first Stephen King and never looked back. There was something about the way he wove terror and humanity together that I couldn’t resist.I became the kind of reader who can’t be confined to one genre, because every type of story has something unique to offer. That curiosity — that hunger to understand the world through words — has never stopped. And honestly, I hope it never does.This shop is my way of sharing that love — and hopefully finding a few fellow readers who feel the same way.
